Ladd is a village in Bureau County, Illinois, United States. The population was 1,295 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Ottawa–Streator Micropolitan Statistical Area. Ladd is most notable for the former large hill at the edge of town that resulted from the years of underground coal mining conducted in the town, for Rip’s Chicken, and for a World War II tank located in the center of its park.
